Description
1939 Letter. From woman in Manassas, Virginia to father-in-law in Hedgesville, West Virginia. She's taking a trip to Moundsville, WV to see her husband who is in prison there. (I know this because of content from other letters, not this one). She mentions that he is working on the (prison) farm even though he has a bad back so that the time will go faster. She talks at the beginning of the letter of signing a deed for the sale of their farm and that she will get her husband to sign it. Stamp has been removed from the original FAIR condition envelope. The letter itself is EX condition with normal mailing folds. Shipping is .50 in the U.S. The USPS has been very slow in delivery lately (4/24). Please contact us if you have not received you item within two weeks of mailing date.International Buyers – Please Note
